What are Benwa Balls for?
Ben Wa Ball are little gold plated balls that are inserted in the vagina (they are free from one another and are NOT attached by a string).They are often used for two completely different reasons.
1) Some women will use Ben Wa Balls for vaginal stimulation. They simply insert them and walk around. The balls are hallow and contain another smaller ball. The vibration caused by the ball will stimulate the vagina. Most women will tell you that the first few times they used ben wa balls they didn't really feel much, but after a few uses they became more and more responsive of vaginal stimulation.
You might find it hard to keep them in at first, but practice makes perfect. You might want to use them lying down on your back. Insert them and try to slowly move the around in your vagina.
2) Another reason some women will use them is to firm the vaginal walls and pelvic muscle. Often after labor women will use ben wa balls to tighten the vaginal walls. This is a very good way of getting your genitals back to their original condition. Again, trying to keep these small balls in will be pretty hard at first. But like any kind of training, you've got to give it time and keep trying.
You might also come across different types of balls (duo-tone, anal beads etc..). Often times, these balls will be tied together by a string. The DuoTone balls resemble a small golf ball. They are use for vaginal stimulation. The balls are bigger than Ben Wa balls , and are pretty easy to keep inside. They won't give you the muscle training that ben wa balls will, but they will give you more stimulation.
